Cabs simply do not retain value because they can't be shipped for reasonable money unless you're running a business that does a ton of common carrier shipping. I really don't care about getting one in pristine condition because it will be gigged and abused. But you should have no problem finding a very clean Marshall 1960 for $500 max. Get a beater for $300 and do a speaker swap. I can't believe anyone pays $949 for a new one at GC. I just don't get that.
