What are favorite amps for jamming in the bedroom? Doesn't matter if its a 100w with an attenuator all the way up, or a 1w practice amp. I am trying to get some more ideas.

I do all of my practicing and playing at home on a line 6 toneport UX2 that I got off of ebay for 75 bucks mint. I have RP 5 monitors plugged into it and it plugs into my PC via USB, Couldnt be happier . Its not boutique tone by any means but for my uses, its more than fine

I like the Peavey Vyper combos though and want to snag one of them as well.

My biggest problem is my main amp now has to be kept in my bedroom, so anything over probably 20w is going to be overkill. Havnt heard alot of good feedback related to attenuators either. Dont really want to go the digital route either since it will have to be my main tone. Nothing against digital, just prefer a tube amp. I have no idea what direction to go ampwise, and have a feeling this is going to get expensive

May end up getting a bunch of smaller amps like a Tweaker, JC 22H, fender Blues jr, and something else. still up in the air about the whole situation though.

Go try out a Blackstar HT-5 if you haven't or maybe an Egnater Tweaker....

It was wierd... I have tried a Egnater tweaker in the past and it just didnt get along with me, and I tried one again a few night ago and it sounded pretty good. I will have to retry the HT-5 also since I havnt played one in so long.

I have a bogner duende that is killer and very versatile also. like two amps in one that can be blended plus verb and tremolo.

Mesa Mark IV combo or real late at night I use Line6 UX2 with POD farm 2 through my computer monitors or headphones.

Diezel VH4 works for me. Sounds better turned up a bit, but still a helluva lot of fun to play at bedroom volumes.

Modded valve junior is fun, but even cranked it gets a little loud for a bedroom ;) But is sounds great though!
Mesa DC3 is my other bedroom/practice amp but that's currently in pieces as I'm troubleshooting a few things.

Mojave Coyote...4x12 basketweave. I had Jerry at Surreal put a master/jose master on it and it works great at low volume. Luckily the old lady doesnt mind a beat up Marshall sittin in the front room....

DT-50 looks interesting, with the combination of analog/digital modelling based on volume level.

analog at full power, but adds modelling to support the sound at lower volume levels.
