First of all, it’s COULDN’T care less to know. Secondly, my comment, your “precious free speech” was directed at the whiners crying about their rights to free speech that don’t exist on a privately owned forum, and not even close to being indicative of my values concerning liberty. That was purely your assumption.
I “inserted“ myself into yours and Donnies conversation? If you don’t want that to happen on a PUBLIC FORUM, perhaps next time you should PM your discussion, and besides that, you were the one who initiated dialogue with me.
I never said that Donnie agreed with me, I said that he knows where I stand, because as I said before, my opinions concerning this have been very consistent and obvious, and I NEVER made disparaging remarks against free speech...

:confused: I see... privately owned vs public owned. Privately owned for public use. The wording threw me.
 
What needs to happen, so that both sides are equally represented is the government needs to create a forum. Government owned means no censorship-free speech at its finest.

Why? Because every other option will be privately owned, like Rig Talk and be subjected to whatever rules the owners see fit to enforce.

When it comes to a private individual, group or companies that OWN an Internet forum, they can do what they want regarding RULES that they set for said forum. IE topics that may be discussed etc.
Just like a privately owned social media platform, that set their own rules regarding topics discussed. Whomever owns these entities can set the rules however they like.

PS: You can be banned here (like most forums) and come back as a alternate (alt) username but unless you get a different ISP or use a Proxy/VPN your IP Address will remain the same. To answer HEMI's question about why we don't simply ban people who are breaking the rules. That and Mods don't have time to read through all the crap to figure out who is 'right or wrong'. I'm guessing Nero gets 20-40 emails/PMs per day. Annoying.

You cannot discriminate against sexual preference, nor religion, nor race. If you make a rule it has to apply to everyone. Like no posting propaganda, or threats. That will get you banned no matter your political beliefs. If one side tends to be banned more, it's because there is a correlation to who is posting threats, propaganda, and lies more often
