What I get asked the most: How heavy can the XTC get?

Agreed. The XTC seems like it would cut better the lower the tuning got, unless you got creative with the EQ, but I don't have much time with Rectos or XTC,
 
'Alien Love Secrets' was mostly XTC I believe? The tone on 'Die to Live' is fantastic
 
Red channel with a boost in front can do metal riffing no problem. It’s similar to the EVH amps honestly. So it doesn’t have recto type lowend but it can be tight and aggressive.
