How do You like the JCM800 modified, Carl? Thomann still has the 2203 RI for old price which is several hundreds of euros cheaper than what the other shops are selling it for. I thought my next amp would be an SLO100 but the 2203 RI is tempting me a bit…

I haven’t played the modified, but I’ve owned quite a few 2203 RI’s, including the 20 watt one.
I like the 2203 better than the four input Marshals, they just suit me better. Anyway, I got that covered with the Suhr SL67.
IMO, Robin Trower got his best tones when he was using the JC 800’s.

I have an XTC101B, MarkIIC+ RI and 1959HW reissue in my amp rack at the moment and 1987x is waiting for me to sell it. Still the 2203 RI is tempting me.
