Metallica's Load for me. That started me on the path to the world of much heavier stuff!!

Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik, man I love that album.

The first stuff that I played on our family record player was my parents old Beatles, Beach Boys, and Rolling Stones albums. The first album I bought was Jim Croce's Life and Times, but I quickly turned to Kiss, Frampton, Styx, Led Zep, Aerosmith, BTO, etc in a mixture of vinyl and 8-track. I think I still have all of the original Kiss vinyl up through Dynasty. I think Blizzard of Ozz was my first cassette.

Deep Purple Made in Japan in 72 or 73 bought at the corner drug store boy how the parents hated that album.

I listened to alot of my older cousins stuff like bark at the moon and diaries of a madman, Maiden - Killers ect.

But I belive my first ever rock album of my own was Skid Row- Skid Row

UFO - Force It. Followed by UFO - Phenomenon.

I haven't been the same since.

Van Halen 1984.

Odd first rock album, considering that I was more into punk and Thrash around the time I bought it.

Toys in the Attic and KISS Alive - though there were a few Boston and Styx (Pieces of Eight, Grand Illusion) 8-tracks in that Columbia House deal. ;) Only a penny too.
