Whats an Album that STOLE weeks/months of your time relentlessly. I'll go first.

The first 3 "Glamtera" albums were in constant rotation when I was very young.
Then it was the first 3 Metallica, Exodus and Slayer albums.
Then the first 4 Taylor Swift CDs.

Yeah no doubt. The college station had a decent rock and metal show once a week and then the oldies stations which have almost gone away completely now. If you wanted to hear blues you had to know some hippies with a record collection, lol.

I listen to stuff on repeat like I have a mental defect, those were all particularly over-listened to though lol

I used to listen to The King Bisquit Flower Hour in the late 70’s and early 80’s and dubbed the shit out of songs from it. I had partial songs from a lot of cool bands 😜
 
I went through several copies of these cassettes because they were played so much in my Cutlass Supreme:

Maiden - Piece of Mind
Trouble - Psalm 9
Mercyful Fate -Melissa
Priest - Screaming for Vengeance

I did that with all of the CD’s I listed, but another one I guess I should list is Pink Floyd, another brick in the wall. I literally wore the tape player out in my truck I played it so much. I used to work a super shitty factory job 6 days a week mandatory 26 hours overtime 6am to 6pm and Saturdays 6am to noon. That tape got me through a lot - many early mornings to calm my nerves. That job is what funded my first real guitar that wasn’t a pawn shop purchase - a Wolfgang Special and the amp that earned my income for a while and I still own today, a 5150 II.

Dude, this was me on a Saturday, '84-'86 or so back in Perth. University radio would do a metal show once a week and I would have my cassettes at the ready! Then of course I wouldn't catch who they said it was and would go through hell trying to figure out the band. No shazam on a landline phone back then \:D/
