What's better than one new Marshall? (NADx6) ADDED CLIPS!

3rd time this year I've put someone on the ol' ignore list...people who crap on a new gear day have literally nothing else to type at that moment, and gotta say SOMETHING. Weak. Glad no more of his lame shit will show up on my feed. Also think it's comical that dude who said he could outplay Kirk Hammett won't post a single clip cause he 'sucks'. Hmm.

The clips sound good, man. Excited to hear the rest. Keep em coming.
 
I can't see the negativity towards someone buying six modded Marshall heads, including some that quite rare. I would call that a very good day, Christmas, or an amp party! That is one amazing amp haul. I like the Morin clip the best so far. It has a nice classic metal vibe to it. I hope you are having fun with them.
 
I wish the iphone allowed videos on this site- wth is going on there? Anywho, I just saw this video and WOW, very inspiring. Funny, my Fortin Marshall must be broke because I can't make it sound like that :lol: :LOL:

....and the Morin sounds unbelievable, just so in-your-face and punchy! Not as dark as the first lip ;) !

It's so great to hear all these different mods side by side. You can really get an idea of the characteristics of each. What a great service you have done :thumbsup:

The APC has def got the beef. That mike sounds great. Are your settings somewhat the same?
The Morin sounds like it has the most top/presence, just wonder if its the settings or not?
I think both of them beat the cameron :D

Congrats on a serious gear haul dude! I'm not a "Marshall guy" per se, but some of those clips are downright tasty!
 
The first clip posted of the morin seems to have a metallic tone to it, although I wonder if it sounded that way in the room? Also, the fortin and the Cameron mod sounded quite similar to me.

Also - Why do people remove prices from their threads when they sell stuff? This really ticks me off, cause it makes pricing rarer things nearly impossible. I know you want to protect your investment and stuff, especially in this case, where I assume the amps were sold well under market value, but it makes buying and selling these things hard to know when there's a decent deal, if the only used price you can find is from like 5 years ago :P

The prices are all still in the original classifieds post. jlbaxe respectfully removed them when somebody inquired about what the amps actually were. The classifieds post shows what I paid (minus shipping), and then breaks it down by each amp if they were to be purchased separately.

The price I paid for all six combined does not accurately represent the current market prices. I'm not looking to make a crazy amount of money if I do sell a few of these. I won't be lowballed either. I always loved that line: "your price it too high, you only paid X amount of dollars for that amp..."

I can't (or won't) even begin to tell you the offers I've already received...

APC and the Cameron sound great but I'm really digging the Morin. That thing is gainy and saturated as hell and I love it. Thanks for the clips man!
 
Yeah a EQ makes the world of difference. Wont play without one these days. Just 'pumps' the amp up. :rock:
