ready for another i sold my 5150II,warpx and warhead
Great amp. Had my 5150-II for 4 years fitted with custom quad of 2xEL34 + 2x6L6GCs. Smoking combo til I met my beloved Herbert. When it comes to sparkling cleans, Marshall-esque mid gain tone and over the top brutal crystal clear high-gain – no guitar amp comes anywhere close to the all mighty Diezel Herbert. A Herbert brutal package all-in-one - late...

i already have a herbert...love it

These are the two amps currently at my disposal , Engl Savage, Invader 100 both are great

Diezel Hagan.

It sounds so brutal I ordered one immediately!

From the 2 RT'ers in da hizzy, and their clips in the last 24 hours.

No contest for me. Any of the Peters amps. The controls actually work how they should, and are deceptively versatile. They have a unique, yet familiar, sound. They are among the best at lower volumes. As praised as they are, they are still underrated for build quality. They have a feel and response unlike any other high gain amps, and make you feel like your fingers are moving the speakers. And, James Peters is the best to deal with.

I agree with this guy. JP for the win.

I think so. 2 bias pots for 2 pairs, 6L6 through to EL34 range, so that'd include 6550s and KTs as well. Nothing really matters so long as the pairs are biased right. I've not even BOTHERED to discuss this in depth as hey, the amp's not even out for a day - no sense already getting in there trying to muck around with the glass.

Just sayin',

Newest high gainers I've played were:

VH4 post '07 I believe. LOVED this amp. One of the best sounding and most responsive I've ever played.

New XTC 101b. Loved this amp too. Shimmery cleans, killer crunch and fluid leads

Mark V. Need more time with it but it's an awesome amp!

Reza, is that an Ibby 7 string?? Just wondering...

Ya, that Hagen's pure biznit.

Lovin' it!!
