About a month ago I bought this Laney IRT-Studio 15w tube amp for $697 brand new.
It is a 3 channel amp with built in reverb and boost.
It also comes with a 4 button footswitch.
I like the tone of my Laney Dualtop 60w Solid-State Head so why not give it a shot?

I am coming up on my return period and trying to decide if it is a keeper or not.

It does not have the tube feel and warmth of my Soldano SLO-30, Soldano Astro 20, or Bogner 3534 35w Heads, but is 1/3 to 1/4 the price of those amps.
It does feel and sound better than my Laney Solid-State which cost about $425.

It has plenty of gain for whatever you might need, it is just not a touch sensitive amp, but then again many high gain amps are not touch sensitive.

For $697 I don't see getting anything better and it allows me to leave my 3 great amps at my primary residence.
If I return it I would then bring the Soldano Astro 20 to my vacation home and leave the SLO-30 and Bogner at my primary residence.

Give a listen and see what you all think.

I've got a buddy who uses one of these Laney IRT rackmount amps in his studio and it's a great pedal platform. He sets it up for a mild crunch and hits it with drives and fuzzes. It sounds great and is fairly low noise. Speaker outs to a mic'ed up cab in another room and the direct outs to the board. They can be had for $3-400 used.

I am leaning towards keeping it, but I do like my other amps better except for the Laney Solid State.
