Where Does Tone Come From

One thing to consider is that different woods respond and resonate acoustically differently to your playing that in turn effects the tone that's coming out of the speakers.

..or you've just emptied your balls.

In regards to guitars as a basic subject of tone.... everything else aside if the body and neck wood wasn't a major contributing factor then every guitar would be a great guitar.............


Then we have the subject about pickups and build quality which are even more rabbit holes to venture down.
