Hi all! Finally got me a Herbert. It had to travel to the other side of the world from Germany to Hong Kong, to Shanghai. I'm not even sure whether anybody else in China owns a Diezel.... Anyway, now I have to decide on a cab. It probably needs to be a 212 because I don't have the space for a 412 and moving would be too much of a pain. I already have a Engl pro 212 and a Mesa recto horizontal 212. Thought that the Herbert with the MEsa sounded a bit boomy, even at lower volumes. Other option would be Bogner 212 OS. There are no Diezel dealers in China as far as I know unfortunately and importing one seems too problematic. So what would you guys recommend?

Welcome to the board

I would recommend a 412FL with V30 speakers.

Please call Holiday Music in Bejing.

Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter! Thanks for the tip! If I knew there was a Diezel dealer that would've saved me a lot of trouble... I actually asked about this through the Diezel website but never got a reply. Do you have contact information for this Holiday Music? Couldn't find any information about them. Thanks again!

Um, Isn't the Herbert a 180-watt amp, and a pair of V30s is 120 watts? K100/CL80 mix?

Finally managed to get in touch with Holday Music. Problem was that they don't have anything....no Diezel amps, no cabs, no Columbus....

Is it advisable to use a 212 with he Herbert? If I don't play loud will I blow up my Mesa 212? Need to bridge the time till I have sourced a Diezel cab. The other option I have is a bogner 212 OS. If all fails maybe a recto 412.
