I’m starting to think VBF’s aversion to modeling isn’t really about the tonal quality but more about not grasping the technology, akin to a Grandma struggling with a new satellite TV remote control which replaced the old rabbit ear antenna. “Sonny boy, I can’t find my stories anymore!”

I boot them once, then I reboot them over and over until they can be easily swept up into the dustpan. Notice I said dustpan, not roomba.

The tonal quality mostly sucks IME and yes I hate most post 1965 technology and immediately lose interest when it's all on an LCD display. Ish. I want to play guitar not damn video games. Granted I haven't tried any of the latest junk but based on past big claims by makers and fanboys that didn't live up to the hype or stand the test of time I have no interest in trying any of it. I want to destroy it like the luddites destroyed industrial textile equipment.

Funny...I always looked at whatever I played through..be it a Peavey Classic...an 80's rack.....A killer tube head like my Engl Fireball 100..or now the AX8 or FM9 as just a TOOL...to get not THAT sound or HIS sound...but just MY sound. I can make all of those sound like me or what I like to hear...

A Gorilla thorough a 4x12...a Dumble and TS...or even a refrigerator rack..In the end, if it sounds good and inspires you to play, it don't matter what the fuck it is...
