So, you know the Friedman sound.

The Mezzabarba is based on the SLO, but I find it to have a much bigger low end, and a pissed off Marshall mid range. Plus, with the negative feedback control, you can dial it to be smoother like an SLO (but still more mids and lows) or really bright and crunchy like a Marshall.

I have the SLO and the MZero as well as the trinity. The MZero will definitely be different than the SLO, and enough so to warrant having both, imo

It's become one of my favorite amps, an I personally don't have issues making the low end big and punchy with the right cab and overdrive. It's not as tight as a 5150iii, but Im picky about low end and I love it for my uses
You know Bad seed ---I saw the pic of your gear and was waiting for you to sell me the MZero Overdrive LOL!!!!! Thanks for the insight . I know myself and will own all these amp !!

No doubt! If you can be patient, I'm filming an SLO vs MZERO video this week, as I sold the SLO to a friend and he's comig to get it next week. Not 100% sure when I'll post it, though

If you're lucky --I might even drive to your house . I'm in Columbus., Ohio . Lucky you !!!!

Thats a video ill definitely watch, cool!

I like both of them, but mostly for leads. I'm just as picky about low end as you kyle, and that led me down the rabbit hole lol.

I agree that the mzero sounds "bigger" on the low end and has some of the marshall kerrang. SLOs have this creaminess for playing lead runs thats pretty magical, though. it sounds (and esp feels) like nothing else for that, especially at stage volume.
