I don't know anything about these amps. I don't even know how you get an attenuator in there? Assuming there is a jack for speaker?

This amp has lots of tonal power options. 12w, 6w, 3w, 1.5w, .3w

Power soak your tone with .3 watts of punch.

What he's saying is that the only reason to turn it up is to get pre and power amp distortion, which..... with a princeton isn't that loud, and it isn't that good sounding (unless you like a farty mess)

But even then, if you want THAT tone at THAT low of a volume, why get a princeton at all? Let alone why get a princeton and then destroy your tubes by running it with an attenuator constantly?

Get one of those 1/2 watt amps with a fender tone stack for fucks sake. Or for even more of a fuck's sake get a champ - or a ceriatone/mojotone champ circuit in a head. Or even better use literally any other amp in the universe with one of the many pedals (boss deluxe reverb, LPD 55) that are literally purpose built to get that exact sound. Or get a fucking modeler and use headphones.
