Anyone who knows me knows I am a "metal" dude but............The blue album is in my top ten best albums ever.

The blue album to me is a much more lasting and fond memory of the early 90's than Nevermind. It has pretty much a perfectly executed Hard Pop sound. Say It Ain't So is one of the best rockin' pop songs of all time and the lyric "My drug is a heartbreaker, My love is a life taker" always sticks with me as a great turn of words.

Just popping in to say I HATE weezer. I generally enjoy a very wide pallette of music, but weezer is not on the list

They remind me of stupid frat guys that were annyoing as all getup that I ran into all the time (lived in a college town). And fittingly it was mostly frat college guys who were into them. Nothing against Frats in general. Am I missing something Help me understand.

Weezer is awesome! Blue Album , Pinkerton, The stuff they've done since has been hit or miss but there is always at least a couple songs that rock for me on each album. Pork and Beans rocks, that chorus just hits you in the chest, great jam. If you look at what else is out there these days, Weezer dominates anything else that gets played on pop radio. At least they are still a guitar rock band. I really love this band I think they are carrying on the old guard in a way, they still like to turn up the amps and rock out with overdriven marshalls.
