Edwards played a few, never played a bad one, my Edwards is my no.1 guitar (its made by ESP)

Edwards FTW!

I think I am with the OP that Gibsons just aren't for some people. I have tried numerous gibsons, both at GC, high quality guitar shops, and gibsons of people that I know, and I just can't really get myself to like them. There is just something off in the feel for me.

But on topic, Edwards and Heritage are really good. Hell, even the deluxe series LTD EC's that I have played I have liked better than most Gibson LPs that I have played (puts on flame suit)

They're certainly not traditional LP-style guitars, but the PRS SE Singlecuts are really nice for the money. I played an SE Korina through an Egnater Rebel 30 combo, and the combination was positively GAS inducing. Seriously, just a warm, dynamic, punchy tone from the two. The Korina was extremely well built; I was blown away by the fact that it's a $600 guitar.
