The reissue plexi's and super leads ( especially from the 90's) sound great to my ears just stock with a good pedal. They do good at keeping it simple, one channel and leave it up the player to define his or her sound. thats what makes there products special, like Fender guitars which i think people are high if they think the quality is bad, you just have to look in the right direction know what your getting. Fender Custom shop guitars are amazing and so are some signature series.. the prices ae ridiculous though for both companies, Im surprised they havent put a reissue for the Master Volume JMPs form the 70's.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the DSL. I know lots like them, and many pros tour with them but the Jube RI is easily worth 2X the cost IMO. Not even in the same conversation. Of course the Jube needs a boost....but an SD1 is cheap enough.danyeo":334d89ui said:I plugged into one of those new DSLH amps the other day. I couldn't believe how bad it sounded!![]()

The older DSL's were decent. Where is the DSLH made in? Mexico?
