Why the hell would Megadeth do this?!?!?!?!

I also thought it was shit... what is the point of a fully mic'ed kit with acoustic guitars playing power chords? Why not just stand up and play it the proper way? Megadeth is one band with music that does not translate well to unplugged. IMHO

The acoustic version of She Wolf friggin' rocks. what's the problem?

narrow minded

I think it shows just exactly how tight they are.

But if you want electric Megadeth live, my vote goes to the Rude Awakening DVD. Al Pitrelli is a monster on that. Maybe my fav lead guitarist in the long list from MD. Even though he was just a hired gun, but his playing on that DVD is so clean and mean. He totally rocked that Explorer and LP on that DVD.

Thought it was great too. I wonder how great Metallica would be if big Dave stuck around??

Not Broderick on this, Al Pitreli.

This brought back SO many memories. I had this whole set on CD years ago. Remember holding myself up in my room during a bad winter storm, had 2 weeks of school off. Playing Metroid Prime 2:Echoes and listening to this bootleg. Good shit!

I thought the acoustic stuff they did on that live brazil thing they put out sounded pretty good..
I was digging their acoustic version of Darkest Hour..

daves voice is damn good in that vid ... is there more of this acoustic set ?
