To me the irony lies in the question of why? Let's see,I've had a signiture type sound with a gibson lespaul marshall amps and emg pickups,so now I'm going to make my own guitars that look absolutely nothing like what I have played for over 2 decades,wt....F.....do you get a pack of cards and close pins for your bicycle as part of the deal..

I gotta admit, those don't look too bad!

Only joking. They all suck.

His whole new line is actually a partnership with Schecter, just relabeled Wylde audio. So if you are a fan of the MIK lacquered table tops that they pass as guitars, you will probably like these. The amp is probably similar to his 800, but having never tried a Schecter amp, I can't speak to their credibility.

With that said, the high end Schecters, MIA or MIJ are pretty nice, but these don't appear to be either of those. The designs look like they are straight to the Japanese market.

I think Frito Lay should sue Wylde Audio for copyright infringement, these are Dangerously Cheesy.

I'm torn between wanting this and thinking its something I'd never play. I'm right at that age where Zakk was a huge influence on me during his No more tears era of tone and playing. I'll probably end up with one, and it'll most likely play as well as my SE's.

Blades makes guitars? I kid, I kid.

Those are just hideously wretched.

I guess if you don't have something nice to say then you shouldn't say anything...so I will silence..I wish him luck with the sales of these,I am curious which group of players these builds are marketed at.

-i think the black with white stripes V on the bottom looks bad ass!!

-would I buy it?.. No.. I'm no longer brootlz and too old for V' & EXPLORER's,... Pretty soon I'll be drooling over fender drip edge black face's & plaid polyester liesure suits that match the guitar strap on my classic tellycaster.

-ooh its too late for me,.. save yourselves!,.. SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

I've paid for and played waaaaayyyyy uglier guitars. The LP reminds me of a Fernandez Revell I had. Dave Kushner of Velvet revolver played them. I like the Fernandez a design a bit better, but I'm sure these will play and sound fine. Especially if they're coming out of World Music in S. Korea. That said, 999.. seems 2-350 high.

I am interested in trying them but probably won't buy one tough.
I figure a lot of BLS fans will buy them.

I have dug the V since these were announced over a year ago. Hate the others though. Just awful. I'd rock that V.

I am that target audience; I love Zakk including BLS. Actually most RigTalkers should be the target, middle aged No More Tears fans. Seems like they're going after teenagers though with those "aggressive" cosmetics.

Schecter is known for edgy/ugly cosmetics, but the Merrow KM7 stuff is actually classy. Solid guitars that were built overseas. Unfortunate the ZW stuff did not produce something with a more vintage flair.

James Brown was working with Schecter on amps a few years ago. If he is still there I'm thinking that ZW amp is going to rock

Yes indeed,James did the schecter amps and they impressed. The guitars are good too, they have models that are not modern shapes as well.I dig zack,I don't dig these shapes at all,but that's me..it seems very high school to me,maybe there will be some classics as well

Saw Zakk last night use the V and the v/sg guitar. They looked good on stage. One hell of a show, If anyone can catch Generation Axe, Do it!

My local GC had all 4 Wylde Audio guitars.
I was in a hurry so I only got to try the Odin briefly.
What surprised me was the neck, very different from his Gibson LPC. It's more like a "U" shape and I thought it felt "interesting" in a good way. The satin finish on the neck was smooth with a very low action, a nice setup from the factory too. The tone was dark with some bite to it.
Overall better than I expected, but still doesn't change the fact only diehard zakk fans will love the look.
