A lot of it, actually, which is something that impressed me a lot in the unit - there's this direct translation of dynamics, of how I dig in, that is pretty much what I got off the original kit (minus some 200lb, of course... ).

Cheers, mate - my suggestion, as you have limited time, is just for you to have a go a relatively well-known rigs. While it won't really display the possibilities of the unit in terms of ridiculous tonal manipulation while retaining a proper guitar feel, it will certainly help you have a "feel" for the dynamics of the unit.
