I'm a Schecter guy, have been for awhile. My roommate had a Les Paul, couldn't see what the rage was all about. I played better on the Schecters and they were more suited to the music I play. Right now I've got a C1-FR with SD Custom Invaders (voiced for mahogony bodies), C1 Blackjack with JB/'59, and a Syn Custom that I bought because it played better than any guitar I've touched. Something just came together when that guitar was made. I wouldn't be caught dead playing it live, but it's great for messing around with at home.

My favorite guitar is my mid-90's Charvel San Dimas reissue, but lately I'm loving my Petrucci JP-6. Plays great. Sounds great and has the best trem I've ever played. Stay in tune so well. Great, easy neck adjustment too.

I play my N4 alot because it's a blast but I do play my JP6 BFR alot as well as my BC Rich Mockingbird. My EBMM JP6 BFR is definitley the best built guitar I own.

Rickenbackers. I have 5 Ric guitars, 1 Ric bass. (my only others are an Epi Casino John Lennon 1965 limited edition, and '80s Steinberger L2 bass). Nothing comes close to Rics for me.

My fav is my 350V63 in Jetglo (shipping box in the back, pic from the day it was delivered)

With my Vox Heritage amps in the back, though here I'm going direct into my Bose L1 Model II for pure Ric tones uncolored by any amp:

Nice, i like mine a lot. The first thing you can do to ruin a guitar is play a good sounding LP first and then plug in the other guitar. Usually the LP tone kills your typical Charvels and Ibanez's. We had an ampfest back in August and someone was playing Dave's LP and Carl Roa was going to play my Cobra next so i was really curious to see how it compared and i was pretty happy that the Cobra held it's own against a good sounding LP, IMHO. And Carl Roa really liked my Cobra a lot and he was shredding all over it. It was glorious. :D

LP. Gibson, Warmoth, The Heritage, Epi Elitist.......any of 'em.

Ya think?

...but this kit is working well for some 70s punk and 80s new wave stuff I'm doing...and with some of my other kit, Rics can sound meaner and heavier than most would assume...using my JMP-1 or my Nova Drive for example, the well-known Ric jangle and chime is gone...not doing new metal or high gain so I don't have the gear to try Rics in this situation...Rics are versatile IMO, and cover all the bases I need, probably more. YMMV

Telecaster. Actual Teles though, none of that modern Anderson rubbish :P

Ok since I started this thread... I've started to play my EBMM JP6 BFR and my trusty old Strat the most. Notice I used the word current in the thread title. Options are good indeed.
