You Tele guys seen this....

cool guitar, tried one a few weeks ago, just wish it had taller frets, and the pickups suffered a bit with gain, but it's essentially a fender stamped squier classic vibe with some tweaks

Well...it is tele shaped

Not much of a Tele there. Not gonna get a Tele sound out of a tapped humbucker with a strat bridge.

I do understand why some would like it and get the point of it. Still not a Tele though. :D

Nice looking guitar. Sorry if this strays off topic but my buddy just explained to me how recording an extra track with a Tele will bring your songs to life?!?

I play high gain metal, have only even touched a Tele once about 18 years ago.

Do you guys find this to be accurate?

A track with the buckers on a strat for the beef and a Tele to add some bite?
Sure, a normal tele config with the bridge pickup will add all kinds of bite and growl.
This one basically sounds more like a strat....but is great for guys that like a tele shaped guitar for play ability.

I dunno, but I think this guitar is a great combination. The Stelecaster!

  Fair enough. This is a Les Paul. Says so right on the body and headstock.

Now this is just silly.

I guess the world just isn't ready for Stele.

I'm ready for Jeff Becks Tele-Gib but would need to Floyd it ;)
A tele with a Floyd, now you're going too far!
Actually a Wolfgang Special has a tele'ish shaped body with no contours and a Floyd.

Here it is.
It's darker overall compared to the ad picture.
The maple neck is stained darker, sort of like the color of the Eric Johnson strat neck.

Honestly it's about perfect to me.
Hard tail with string through the rear of the body, the guitar sustains really nicely. I really dig the switching and pickup config and the pickups do not need to be upgraded, they sound well matched to this guitar. The neck is really great. It has a great shape to it, fast playing and note bends are effortless, the frets are dressed just right, the fretboard edges are rounded/rolled to make the neck feel extremely comfortable. The action is extremely low with no fret buzz (I actually may raise it a bit as it's a little low for me)
I don't know if i found a good one and the rest are duds but I would give this guitar a very high rating...would buy again. :D
The only thing I might change is the tuners for locking ones, but maybe not, as it is staying in tune much better than I expected for vintage tuners.
For under $400 it's an absolute steal.

A Tele with a HB is never a bad thing. Neither is a Tele with a Floyd....

What's the story with this one?

Cool guitar Randy, I called my local Fender guy after I saw the pics of yours. The darker tint is awesome.
Currently there are none at Fender here in the Phoenix area, but more are coming in soon.
They told me the fit and finish are awesome on these. They've got some Thinlines right now but no H-S-S.
LOL I already called "dibs" on the next one they get in...
Only thing I may not like is the 9.5" radius.
22 frets, "medium jumbo" is very cool.
I've got a Mexican Players Strat with a 12" radius and those same frets that plays phenomenally.
We'll see. If it looks good and plays nice, I'll have to take my head and my #1 Tele down there to see how it compares tonally.
Thanks for the heads up, I would have probably missed these!!!

Play it first, but I don't think you'll be disappointed. ;)
