Always used EB Slinky until I bought my first Suhr I liked the strings it had on it so I asked the guy I bought it from what they were....I've used Exilir nanowebs ever since.

Yes I do. I have a permanently altered cuticle from long nights with a strat and 11-49 at Eb. Liquid skin got me through many of those nights. Another reason I switched to a shorter scale and lighter strings with a lower action. The Lord did not bless me with the kung fu grip like Stevie had so I had to find other ways to accomplish some of those multi step bends.
SRV played high action. Thats how he did those huge bends with heavy gauge. I cannot for the life of me understand low action. Every one of my guitars have the action at the low e string at 24th fret, from top of the fret to bottom of the string is higher than 2 mm. It makes doing everything else harder but its more important to me to be able to really do extreme bends and control vibrato the way I want to. YMMV

I have tried alot of strings but other brands have always became inconsistent except ghs boomers. Second place was hi beam dr handmade strings. Ghs has always been super consistent for me.
