Welp. I've watched a about half of it and it's cool but it strikes me as a little too overproduced. The video has effects, blurred edges and that kind of garbage. Long sections of sub camera angles. When Joe B. is ripping why doesn't the camera get right up on it. It does in places, but not in others. It's dark and fuzzy.
Also the sound? It sounds like an album. Too slick. Doesn't really sound that live to me. Really a bummer.
Why not just record the damn show and let it be? Yeah, I know, people like to slick things up and fix things all the time. I don't like it.
There's a common thread in my Joe B. complaints and it's Kevin Shirley. I cringe when I look in a Joe B album sleeve or BBC or the live DVD and I see a PICTURE of the PRODUCER. Are you kidding me?! Ridiculous.
Well im bummed based on your review. Damn....I hear what your sayin. When im watchin a live show, I want it to sound live....not like a multitrack studio glossed over recording. Why do bands do that? Yeah...a producer has no business with his pic on an album sleeve.....
