Shooting from retention should be in everyone's regular training rotation.
Where?Nah, just got my ammo in. Just over $12 per 50 count 9mm FMJ. Glad prices are much more manageable.
There's some great online deals that come and go with inventory.. Here's a couple where I buy from.Where?
Michael Mann the director is a big Gun guy.. Tom Cruise's character used a USP45 in that movie which was the new hot gun back then.Shooting from retention should be in everyone's regular training rotation.
GunBuyer.com in FL…brand I got was Magtech, no idea if they’re good but it was the cheapest. I usually get the 200 boxes of Winchester white box, but they didn’t show those in stock. Them being in FL means I get it quick here in GA.Where?
I usually buy in bulk from SGAmmo, but a lot of times I buy local. Right now Dunns in Herculaneum ( right next to the old Pevely flea market) has piles and piles of Magtech in 115 and 124 for about $12/box. I also routinely check Denny Dennis, but they are usually high as hell. And Farm and Home in High Ridge usually has some decent deals. Don't even bother with Bucheits, they usually got it but they're real proud of it.Where?
I am. The 629 and gen 1 Glock are finally here.Off to see your FFL?
Sure hope if they start doing gun reissues we don’t eventually get “relic’s”..lolI am. The 629 and gen 1 Glock are finally here.
Agree, but most ranges (indoor anyway) won't let people do it for liability reasons. At the very least, practice with a dry weapon.Shooting from retention should be in everyone's regular training rotation.
That’s true. Not for me, but for a lot of people. I belong to a private gun club. I can do whatever I want.Agree, but most ranges (indoor anyway) won't let people do it for liability reasons. At the very least, practice with a dry weapon.
There's one indoor range/club around here that will let you do it after a class I think. That’s true. Not for me, but for a lot of people. I belong to a private gun club. I can do whatever I want.
I take a lot of classes and train with some crayon eating types, but I’m on the range down here usually twice a week drilling on my own. There's one indoor range/club around here that will let you do it after a class I think.

I’ve shot probably around 500-600 rounds of Whitebox (and other makes) since I got my Canik, late last year, without a failure. When an ammo is as mass produced as it is, reports of failure may seem higher than others but still statistically fall in line with average failure percentages. I haven’t heard anything about it but that doesn’t mean it isn’t out there for some.Winchester White Box has had a lot of problems lately with 115 gr. 9mm. Or so I hear.
Magtech I haven't heard anything bad about, but it is made in Brazil if that matters to you. Especially when you can get Blazer Brass ( American made or Sellior and Bellot ( Czech made) for the same price.
Love the Whitebox.. I try to get the NATO 9mm variety in 124 grain when I can.
