Yeah. I think there is nothing wrong with the thread title. If we find out something insane and understandable happened, no harm; no foul. But no communication in 13 days is wild.

Only thing I can see is you send the money, and he decides against sale for whatever reason. He refunds you and doesn't notice that the refund is cancelled, because he is busy. He hasn't been on the forum, so I assume something is going on in his personal life. I would think that the refund would have come with a short message at least.

It feels like a majority of threads I see with people getting ripped off, whether its here, camera forums, motorcycle forums, etc.. It's all because the person getting ripped off sent Paypal F&F. Idk how anyone on the internet thinks Paypal F&F is a good idea and expects any protections. Using a fee calculator it would cost $1554.75 to include fees. Just eat the $55 and get protections. If you can't afford the $55, haggle or get a new hobby.

He cancelled the paypal refund. On social media he claims he has the right to do so as I sent him threatening messages. LE has the post from his social media. I am not going to comment any further here. If and when I recieve my money back or the guitar I will ask this thread be deleted.

Dispute it with your bank or credit card if that was tied to PayPal. Just tell them you were scammed and suckered into using F&F and play naive. I don't know how somebody can cancel the refund and keep the goods. That's fucked up. If you've communicated with him on social media, sound to me like Clint's a turd.
