One popped up close to me for that price as well, if I didn’t already have a recto I would have grabbed it, probably still should have grabbed it. I’d love to grab a 1960 of theirs

400€ used seems kinda pricey consindering what you can get for that money on the used market and that they cost 549€ new back then. I got Bugera's at cost for a lot cheaper because a friend of mine was their lead tech/designer in Germany. A 6260, 333/trirec was less than 200€ back then. I even bought a couple of them for that reason.

And what exactly do you get on the used market for 400 euro nowadays? A boss katana? Lol
Oh you're so funny! But.. No.

Try Framus Dragon, Laney, Brunetti, Koch.. or one of the other countless options out there for every taste. And beyond that it needs just a little bit of research and patience to discover some real sleeper amps in the EU. Or if you want that Recto tone how about Yerasov's RevC Dual Rec clone the Bulldozer. You know, actually really good amps.

Ok, you are. Good to know!

Btw. the Framus Dragon eats the Trirec for breakfast and I'd one when they were released and bought a couple in recent years (the last one merely a few months ago to be exact), each for about 400€. But you do you.

Oh ffs, you're just wasting my time now just like those imbeciles on TGP did years ago, don't know why you hate them so much you certainly have much in common. I shouldn't have said anything. Do your Bugera clips and just leave the good amps on the used market to people that actually know their stuff. Au revoir!

Send me a dragon and a cobra bro...O.P.-congrats on the amp....I've heard some really cool clips from those...

Framus Cobras/Dragons are first of all at least 900 euro before shipping on reverb in shit condition and second of all don’t do the DR thing.
What don’t you understand?
I Bought an amp in new condition for what I consider a good price and thought I’d share the fact since it sounds really good.
Go suck a german framus and spare me your frustrations, please.
Framus Dragon with 2x12 for 790.- €

I’d buy a franus dragon if I saw one that cheap. Must be in the pawn shops of Europe or something

And that offer includes the cab and is sitting there for well over half a year at that price but don't bother SKU is talking out of his ass anyway just because I mentioned that with some research and patience there are many alternatives to an used Bugera for 400€ in the EU. Who would have thought?

Btw. considering Dragon/Cobra and Dual Rectifier share much of the same circuitry (basically all SLO based) and after owning a SLO, about 4 Rectifiers (2Ch Dual, 3ch Dual and Triple) as well as both the Dragon and the Cobra I have to say that they can easily do the "DR thing" as long as it's not the flubby low end. In fact the Cobra was my main amp for years when gigging and a RevC my backup. Then a friend of mine became an endorser for the Musicstore in Germany and got the rebranded Yerasov Bulldozer amps for next to nothing. Of course I bought one as backup for my RevC.. ridicoulos I know. But right now there's someone selling his Bulldozer halfstack for 500€, a bargain if you're into those old 2ch Rectifiers but most people tend to favor lunch box amps and pedals nowadays so large heads and 4x12s became more of a niche market and if it's not big name stuff it just sits there mostly unnoticed even when it's reasonably priced.

If you're not picky and want a V1 for example they pop up quite regularly on different online marketplaces. Cobras are usually more expensive but when you know a good tech it costs about 30€ to transform a Dragon into a Cobra.

Shit at that price I’d buy any . But had no luck seeing any Framus under $1300

Even with the Euro tanking right now shipping costs and import taxes to anywhere outside of the EU would probably eat up any savings on a good Cobra/Dragon deal and with Russian companies like Yerasov or AMT and the whole EU restrictive measures against Russia over Ukraine only time will tell if they'll become rarer and more expensive here. I've to pay my Russian contacts now in crypto if I want them to keep building stuff for me.

I just shipped my Rectifier to Sweden so I know about that shipping atm . Insane

It's totally insane and I don't know why. I've lost two international shipments within the last 4 months (one from Finland the other from Spain) and I'm now trying to prevent the loss of a third (from the USA) but USPS thinks it's delivered while the package can be traced to being stuck at the airport for almost 3 weeks because the address is missing or incomplete. Cutting through all this bureaucracy is killing me.

Still not comparable to 400 euro new condition.
Whatever. It's not like that you have warranty on that used Bugera but we've already established that you're talking out of your ass and if you would've bought it for 200€ I wouldn't have said anything. I just mentioned that there are plenty of options for 400€ and you instantly got your knickers in a twist.?‍♂️

I will start actively avoiding Framus amps and recomend people to do so too. I will also most likely buy another Bugera.
Now you’ve done it!!:ROFLMAO:
You do you. Idc.
