That's not faith based, it's evidence based. Massive difference.
So you're admittedly lacking all the necessary evidence for full proof of evolution. You need to fill in gaps. You expect they will be filled in=leap of faith.

But the bible is false, and you guys don't even follow it to the fullest, that's how false it is.
You're saying that, but what are your credentials with regard to the bible and early church tradition where i would take your word on that over a dedicated preist or monk? Would you take my word on scientific matters over a learned scientist you personally knew? I feel like you probably wouldn't.

Well I should say, "technically." While I don't fault folks for having their own beliefs, and recognize they are often quite reasoned, I haven't personally seen anything that compelling.

When it comes to the bible, why do you need to take the word of a priest? You can just read it yourself. It's pretty clear.
I can read science books myself but I would need a person more educated in scientific matters to explain details and answer my questions. If you were taking my advice on science matters, it would be a poor decision. It I am taking your advice on bible matters, it would be a similarly poor decision. You don't have years of study and commitment to Christ's holy orthodox church. I don't have a dedicated scientist's years of study and commitment to research and study.

Trust the experts?

Science matters can be quite complicated, I agree. However bible matters are not, read it. It's plain as day.
So you understand latin, greek, and hebrew to gain the deeper meanings from the original texts?
