That was awesome! I enjoyed that very much. Some pretty impressive playing there. Gotta see what there going for on shitbay.

Really nice dude !

I got one of those years ago, still keep it around for impromptu jams/gigs and it fools many people when used live.

Lead tones have ever been an issue for me with modelers.

I run mine through a Marshall 9100 Dual Monobloc with 6l6 tubes into Mesa Recto v30 cabs.

Not to highjack, but I did this entire recording on my laptop using the POD XTLive straight in.

I used Riffworks, great little tool for jamming ideas.

I played all the guitar parts below.

https://www.soundclick.com/player/single ... i&newref=1

Guitar used: Gibson Les Paul Gothic w/EMG 81/85 pups, D'Addario XL 10-46 strings, Fender Graffiti heavy pick, Eb tuning
Bass used: Gibson Les Paul Gothic w/EMG 81/85 pups (not a typo   ), D'Addario XL 10-46 strings, Fender Graffiti heavy pick, Eb tuning
Guitar Amps used: PODxt Live: Clean - L6 Sparkle Clean, Rhythm and Solos - 1968 Plexi Variac'd w/all knobs dimed :D
Bass Amps used: PODxt Live: Line6 Prog Metal Bass
Software used: Vista64 Home Premium, RiffWorks Standard, Instant Drummer - Sonic Reality Lo-Fi Funk drums
Console: My Hewlett Packard dv9930us laptop and Altec Lansing desk top speakers w/sub

Notes for above track:
All guitars and bass are single tracked with the exception of the lead lines @ 48-58 sec, they were triple tracked and blended/panned to give that section an "airy" quality.
All clean tracks used the EMG 85 pup
All hi-gain rhythm tracks used the EMG 81 pup
Solo/lead lines and pup used: EMG 85 @ 26-41 sec and 59-1.10 sec, EMG 81 used 42-58 sec.
Bass guitar tracks used the EMG 85 pup
Bass guitar tracks start at 16 seconds in
Guitar volume and tone controls at full on for all tracks

Thanks.

It was either the Mesa Recto or the Marshall cab, I don't remember off hand which one. I'll find out and let you know, it's at our band practice room and it may be the middle or end of the week before I can get to it.

Hey, no worries bro.

Isn't the XT basically the same as POD Farm? POD Farm had good lead and clean tones but the bass on the distorted rhythm stuff was always very loose and messy. Not sure if that's the case with XT or just a problem with the POD Farm software.
