Most of them do come with 6L6s now, my VH2 did. I have never A/B'ed it but I have no desire to change to KT77s.

I have 3 diezels . I instantly got those 77s out and love 6l6s in them . I’m glad they switched

Not sure its a permanent switch, just couldn't get the tubes they normally do and Peter liked these better than other branded KT77s, is my understanding.

I asked about the tone difference before I bought and there is a reply somewhere on here from Diezel. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the difference.

6l6s just have more a an agressive roar I’m the amps I felt . I like that

Ubiquitous sound with the 57 on a V30. Great Clip. Really need to get me a VH4 but need a house first.
