Diesel tops $5 a gallon for the first time since 2022. Here's what it means for the economy.

It cost me $8 extra bucks this morning compared to before Iran. I made it back the first 9 minutes of work this morning.Doesn't really matter to me whether it costs me $30 to fill up or $40. Are people delusional? They going to retire with the extra $10 they save at the pump? All I hear is bitching and compaining about gas prices. But they don't seem to mind excise tax, property tax for a house you own, and the fact that the government STEALS 1/3 of your paycheck and then sends it to other countries, or gives it away to retards like the bumbling fucking idiot in the Ukraine. Can't even remember the assholes name.
So if gas prices go down, the government is still dry fucking you in the ass by some other means besides gasoline.
It's just the daily marching orders the Libsheeple are given by the MSM to parrot.Doesn't really matter to me whether it costs me $30 to fill up or $40. Are people delusional? I definitely will find ways that someone other than me is going to pay but it makes life a little harder. No one wants to spend more money than they have to. I view it as someone stealing $40 from my wallet anytime I go to work. You can't factor it into the price of the jobs?
No, our government consumes way less of our money in taxes than yours.Fuel prices matter to me because I'm looking at an increase of about $800 a month already. Try owning a diesel vehicle and a construction company.
I'm looking at paying a $6000 increase just in fuel for 8 months of work. What could you do with $6000?
I dont think Im much different than any blue collar business. I own a pickup truck and some tools. I own a Dodge Ram Ecodiesel. If i had a 2500/3500 diesel it'd be about $1200 per month.
90 cents per liter difference compared to last year. Notice how all the people who think its just fine aren't sending me $6000?
With the way you guys are talking I wonder if my cut-off saw consumes more gas than your cars.

That's the shit I had to do when I owned a construction company for 25 years. When Obamacare hit and the lead abatement bullshit hit I had to pretty much double my prices on replacement windows. Then of course insurance and taxes went up and consumer confidence plummeted as it always does when a dimocrat is in the white house. You can't factor it into the price of the jobs?
Diesel is more expensive now, we're all gonna die! It's just the daily marching orders the Libsheeple are given by the MSM to parrot.
Not tips, just common practice for people who work for themselves. You wouldn't understand pancake.Dipshits clog the toilet, walk out without fixing it and then give tips to people lining up on how to deal with it

I agree with that but the war changed the price more than our thieving government. As the price of fuel goes up so does the taxes on it. Government is definitely winning over this. No, our government consumes way less of our money in taxes than yours.
People can't handle prices doubling. I can throw $200 or 300 a week onto someone and I'll be fine but it's still work. I'll find something else around the house to get them with anyway. Bump that job up a bit. Chimney needs some repointing. Want to come up and look at it?That's the shit I had to do when I owned a construction company for 25 years. And you'll notice he said their diesel prices are up $.90/liter. Meanwhile here in the promised land diesel is up about $.75/gallon.
Your post count makes me doubtful you own a business, let alone work lolNot tips, just common practice for people who work for themselves. You wouldn't understand pancake.

All of N. America is bent over by "Big oil.I agree with that but the war changed the price more than our thieving government. As the price of fuel goes up so does the taxes on it. Government is definitely winning over this.
People don't have much choice with fuel. Inelastic demand.
I know we have no shortage of fuel either. Scam.
