A USA EVH Wolfgang is $5999!

The last time I looked, I had ordered one from Musician’s Friend. It was a beautiful guitar however, the truss rod adjustment was frozen. It was immovable, and I had to send the guitar back. At that time I believe they were $4000.
I recently looked at Sweetwater on the 6K!! holy shit.

I only see 1 for 6K. Most of them are 5K. Which is still a "Go Fuck Yourself" price. Shit 4K is for that matter.
Insane.

You got that right! I thought it was a bit of a stretch at 4K. I guess the $6000 ones are the ones with the flame maple tops.

If you watch GC used, you can usually grab a USA model for around $2500 to $2600, and sometimes lower.

Man, brings me back to when the Peavey’s first came out in the later 90’s and we sold solid colors for approx 1299 (maybe $1199) and flame tops for 1399. Slab body, Specials were $999, iirc.

Yep. I bought the gold one with the carved maple top. Some of my friends laughed about me buying a Peavey, so I'd hand them the guitar and say "plug in and play it". Every one of those guys stopped laughing really quick. LOL

They were (and still are) really nice guitars and the pickups sounded great. I just couldn't quite gel with the size of the neck but fit and finish were top shelf.

That price is approaching EBMM EVH levels and they are way, way better. Hell, I'd still use that money to buy 2-3 Axises.
