Am I missing out not owning a straight 4-12??

I did a secure 10-pass computer wipe in 2015.
Didn’t realise my 20GB hard-drive was connected.
When I woke up, my entire musical history was gone.
Luckily I still had a box of cassette and tape masters, together with my small record collection, and my childhood Clarinet.
The box was supposedly in a friend’s garage, as I’d been moving around before settling.
He couldn’t find it. Never saw it again.
