Am I responsible for modifications that I did not mention in a listing?

Already done. I'm actually thinking about a black Banker Explorer with cream binding. One that looks like Lita Ford's Hamer Standard.
That would be sick...agree binding on the front only, I would go no aging either....

I ened-up filing an INAD case with Reverb. Nick W. handled the case for me. He tried to negotiate an acceptable price adjustment with the seller, but couldn't. I get it... The seller feels the guitar is worth what he's asking, and that's fine. When it comes to gear, it's worlth whatever someone is willing to pay. I let him know that if he decides to lower the price, I'm open to buying it from him. A big thanks to Nick W. at Reverb!

The seller not disclosing the multiple issues on a guitar in this price range it the epitome of deceitful seller!

You are better off returning the guitar for refund and you might want to vett your next seller more stringently before laying out the credit card for any guitar in this price range. Be prepared for some fuckery from this seller in accepting the return, you better document the guitar condition before you pack while you pack and after you pack it and send all photos to the Reverb rep and the seller prior to shipping.

It is disappointing that such issues arise with guitars in this price range.

I had an issue long ago and I actually made a video and used lighting to show the guitar was undamaged (the guitar had multiple frets that popped). I wasn't taking any chances.

No more "as-is" items for me, that's for sure. If there's no option to return the item, I will not buy.

Yes... I video document all items - no exceptions. Video document packing, boxing, sealing and release of the item to the shipper. Best to use a pair of video glasses, as FedEx and UPS doesn't like when you shoot video in their stores.
