Amp Techs average turnaround time on mods?

That question is as subjective as asking about aliens.

I've seen people lose their amps for 2 years.

To the owner of the amp , I was at jerrys place today picking up a custom amp he did for me and I played and heard your amp , sounds killer ! You should have it back shortly .... I believe he was just wrapping up a few small things on it. Just wanted to let you know ... :rock:

Very cool mod ... I own the actual preamp version and it sounds spot on !

While it's good to an update from somewhere...am I the only one that would be bothered that my amp is being allowed to be played by other customers?
 
Yeah that's kind of fucked up if you ask me. Just be happy that soon you'll have it back. Then you can comment.....be cool for now.

It's not like he sent it home with the guy. Doesn't seem like any issue to me.
 
On the amp bench it's a good thing to have a good player there while he's dialing it in.
 
Yeah but when your amp is MIA for almost 4 months and the tech wont communicate with you, having to hear about it from someone else kind of sucks. I just hope he gets it back safe and sound and it ends up being worth the trouble.
 
I had about 3 amps done by Jerry. He dont answer back all the time but the end product was always well worth it.
Least in my case. :thumbsup:
 
My Aldrich was with Jerry for about 3-4 months and I stressed about it since I'd paid $2600 for it and needed it back for gigs. When I got it back, it was everything I wanted in the amp-basically a CCM-and the the price he charged me was excellent for the work he did. He's doing stuff for a lot of people so he gets backed up with that and life. Much better than a 2 year wait or not getting your amp back at all so sit tight. He does great work. And I actually appreciated Nick checking out mine while it was in the shop. He's had a ton of Camerons and knows the good from bad. I definitely appreciated his opinion.

Thanks mang! I can wait to get my hands on it....and I don't mind at all that you played it. Hell I let people play through my gear and dial it in however they want. He did contact me and told me that it should ship by mid week(this past Wednesday'ish) but I never got a tracking # or anything so I don't know if it's on the way or not. He never told me that he would provide a tracking # though.

You got it , it was still there yesterday so will probably go out next week , he will let you know for sure and I'm sure send you tracking...
 
Yeah Jerry is a stand up guy. Love his work. Your gonna have one bad ass amp my friend. :thumbsup:
