There is ONE cameron mod out there that imo is worth the going price, been out of circulation for years with few owners and that amp rips.

Only one I would buy.

Cameron amps are, where, worth more when nobody had any idea what Mark was doing. If something happened and he stopped making/mod'n amps the price stays up. With a steady release of Cameron amps the value and mystery goes down. Dont get me wrong Awesome Mod'r and builder but now that there is going to be a consistent flow of amps with quality control they will fall into the groove with every other amp out there for resale. Just my opinion.

From my experience blackstar amps are a bitch to sell ,let alone not get mugged on resale. I followed a series of ads where a guy was trying to sell a series one 200 watt, 4 channel head with boutique quality build and all that yadda yadda and the guy couldnt literally give it away. What a kick in the nuts it must be splashing the bucks to buy a product like that and going through hell trying to sell it on.

I must have gotten lucky, I sold my VH4 a 6-8 weeks ago and only lost about $650 off what I paid for it back in 2005. So it only cost me $130 a year to own the amp and play a lot of gigs with it. I think I sold mine just in time, shortly after there were a few VH4 amps that popped up on the classifieds here and the prices got stupid low. I caught a rare break!

I was also lucky, i sold my Einstein for $400 more than i paid for it after paling over 100 gigs with it over three years time.

You can't give these away for $1000 it seems. Everyone wants the loop volume. Sucks, because if you don't need to play at low volumes the older ones are great gigging amps.

I think I've seen some ENGL's sell for like 50% of their new value. Also, same for Soldano SLO's. Sometimes amps are just too expensive to begin with.

Wizards are 40% overpriced to begin with. Of course, there is Canadistanian mark up and the custom duties for them being shipped into the US. That is passed on.

Same with Diezel. Buy a Diezel in Euro currency over there (over here) and they are about $3500, depending on exchange. I know, cause I have bought two straight from Mr. Diezel. In the US, you will pay mid 4's for the import and exchange. Also, have a peek on the Diezel forum. You got people buying $4600 amps that can't even fathom the term "bias". They should be buying Mesa's and other self-biasing amps. Then, they get dumped after they figure out that a Blueface won't make them sound like Adam Jones or blow a fuse or have a tube fault.

What does a pair of Levi's 501's cost in the US now, $25? Go to Europe and they will be about $60.
