Love Fenders, how can you not? I have a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 that I got CHEAP and its awesome. Besides, if its good for Mike Landau, its good enough for me...

Thanks. It's white walnut with a wax finish. The cat who built it is a custom cabinet maker, kitchens, A/V centers, high end finish work and he did excellent work. He also did the grill cloth and handle. He's around the forum here under grizdeluxe, but if anyone is interested I can pass along info. He plays guitar, modded the cab on his Marshall class 5, and built his own ceriatone kit. Big fan of Leo Fender, no one has ever designed amps as good with such a low parts count. I guess early Vox maybe close, but in those days if you lived on this side of the pond Fender prices could not be beat.
30 years ago I found a dead 58 Champ for 15 bucks. I fixed it and sold it with a Ibanez SG clone for 300. Thought I did well until the price for those original tweeds went through the roof.
