Any mods for the Egnater VX?

Two things I've noticed with my new VX mod:
1) Seems to have a LOT of low-end
2) There's much more treble on channel B than on A

Are there any mods you guys have done on this module? Does the 'drop the value of C5 for tighter bass' apply?

On the main board, (compared to my SL2) I've noticed caps for C3 and C4 (both 250pF), as well as larger caps for C1 (.022uF) and C5 (.0022uF).
What could be going on there?
 
BUMP - anybody know what R1 and R2 do on the GAIN pot PCB?
Contrary to the SL/SL2/SL2X, R1 on the VX is empty, and has a 56K resistor for R2.

Just curious if these resistors set the gain for each channel, since they both have 1M pots. Again, ChB is much brighter, so not sure if there's another part affecting that or not.
