Any Schecter Experts? Help identifying Tempest

Thanks guys. I kinda couldn’t believe it either when it popped up. I did my quick research and everything pointed to it being a US Schecter so I put in my fair offer and then ran to the forums.

As opposed to what the Chibsons get with the slots? Pardon my ignorance, I just don’t know what the alternative would be.
 
Good eye and great catch. I never realized or knew that. Attached a picture of the bridge from my Schecter 006 with the slotted posts.

I think they only recently started using "California Classic" again, which are Fujigen. That's been in the last 3 years or so, and again, fancy Super Strats.

They used California Classic for their high end USA guitars over 20 years ago, which includes this Tempest. Look at the price tag - $1695 was alot of money in '98, and if it were Japanese it would have been less. Korean, MUCH less. Process of elimination and common sense.
