Happy NGD!
Once you get used to them they’re the most comfortable of guitars for standing AND sitting. There's definitely something about the Flying Vs that is addicting. They might just be my favorite guitar, at least this year. Can't seem to get enough of them!
I hate reverse headstocks, but this one don't bother me. This one, but red, with a curly or flamed maple top would be a winner for me. I love the shape, the upper neck access, the floyd, the 24 frets. Winner winner chicken dinner. As a pink thing, however, it's firewood.
They seem more ergonomically correct to me.I hate reverse headstocks, but this one don't bother me.
I prefer reverse headstocks;; I have them on my Jackson Rhoads. Too bad my warriors don't have them. They seem more ergonomically correct to me.
Reverse headstocks are pure metalI prefer reverse headstocks;; I have them on my Jackson Rhoads. Too bad my warriors don't have them.
They look more aggressive plus you don't have to reach your hand over the top and contort your wrist to adjust the tuners. Not that it's some huge thing, but on the fly tuning is easier and faster with a reverse.I prefer reverse headstocks;; I have them on my Jackson Rhoads. Too bad my warriors don't have them.

Yeah. When i got my first one on a solar, i noticed how easy it was to tune it. Even when I was a strat guy I had a reverse headstock.Yeah. When i got my first one on a solar, i noticed how easy it was to tune it. Now i get irritated even by 3x3
Congrats and happy NGD. She’s a beaut!! Love the finish, the Block inlays and I’m a sucker for an offset body.

Reverse headstocks are metal, like I said. But a lot of people think floyds are metal. I think stringthrough TOMs have the best string break and that's why it is my favorite bridge
Something that I didn't know existed popped up on my Facebook feed in one of the guitar groups I belong to. Apparently @headlessdeadguy was getting rid of a really beautiful Carvin Custom Shop Ultra V (is that the right name?) right around my price point. We chatted a bit on Wednesday and it arrived Friday morning, just 2 days later.
It's a fucking beauty.
I love the finish.
It plays great.
I don't think I realized it was an offset V in the pictures he sent me and I'm even more in love with it now that I see that. Happy to have gotten something more unique than a Kirk Hammett Epiphone or one of the new Futuras (but I still might get one of those in the future anyway).

I have no use for a floyd. They're fine, some people can make great use out of them. I do not find them to be that useful for what and how I play.
Congratulations! Is that left handed?
I like FR bridges, except when restringing.
