There's a classic reverb at a local shop. May have to try it. That's the John Mayer amp right?

I had classic reverb signature S/N #1 and I’ve had 3 different K&M Customs. They’re all nice for some stuff. I thought I could cover those bases with my blonde bassman and a pedal or 2 so ended up selling them all. I have one of the Glaswerks first 25 hand wired amps for that kind of stuff now and that will never go anywhere.

Yeah, I wouldn’t figure any 80s metal head to be playing through an amp that might expose all their flaws.
Soldano SLO100…… :dunno:

Always wanted a Traditional clean or classic reverb for cleans.. It’s on my bucket list.. I have a Bogner Barcelona I store for a friend that scratches the itch so I haven’t made the leap just yet. Plan to stop by humbucker music or Chicago music exchange before I gamble..

As you likely know I was a Two Rock nerd from the beginning. Bought my first one in '99 and the Emerald Pro became my favorite amp in 2000. Still Think the Emerald pro was a special amp. Owned over 100 of them from stock models to custom made one offs. Bill knows how to do the big clean thing with reverb better than anybody. As far as recent models I like the Vintage deluxe and traditional clean a bunch. The TS1 is not my fave and that has a lot to do with shared eq between clean and lead. That said they make some good amps. Just saw EJ and he had a Marshall and two twin reverbs and a Two Rock Classic Reverb which is cool too.

Steve! I didn’t know you posted here. I had one of the early Two Rocks. I don’t remember the name. It had some sort of extra switch on the back, that engaged a separate transformer or something?
I also had the Classic Reverb Signature.
I’ll check out the Vintage Deluxe

Been here forever but had to re-join many years ago with new name and ip adrdess when I got banned for fighting with Brad King:p. You may have had an Opal Which had a switch on front for selecting a a lead channel tone stack that was different than the HRM tone stack you could engage. That was a great amp. They did a reissue in 2016 which did not sound at all like the early ones.
