I'm surprised all those Portland business owners didn't blame Trump during their statements.

If anyone still owns private property, homes, businesses, etc., in Portland - they deserve their results.

Can't wait to see the self-destruction NYC is bringing upon itself if they elect the commie islamist. The fails are going to be epic; and entertaining to watch from afar.

If the elite of NY didn't want a marxist mayor to bring about the same results as London England there is no way Mamdani would even get close to being elected.

I am starting to believe the statement...."If voting really mattered.......they wouldn't let you do it."

God Forbid Americans actually get an affordable health care system that actually keeps them healthy and or a real pension system they can actually retire on but the greedy corporations replaced those with fluctuating 401K plans. The man who invented the 401K said the 401K was never meant to replace standard pensions but almost all medium to large corporations have done away with traditional pension plans because they cut into profits. Research Ted Benna yourselves.

AI Overview

Yes, the inventor of the 401(k), Ted Benna, has repeatedly stated that he intended the plans to supplement—not replace—traditional pension plans
. The 401(k) was a way to help employees set aside extra savings with a tax advantage, in addition to their guaranteed pension income.

Benna's frustration with how the 401(k) system evolved is well-documented:

  • Shifted responsibility from employers to employees. Many companies used the 401(k) as a justification to drop their expensive pension plans, transferring the entire risk and responsibility for retirement savings to their employees.
  • Became too complicated and expensive. Benna argues that the proliferation of complex investment options and hidden fees, which he thought employers would cover, has made the system a "monster".
  • Disadvantaged lower-income workers. The shift away from pensions has been particularly hard on low- and middle-income households. The plans work best for highly paid employees who can maximize their savings and absorb higher fees. Many lower-income workers either don't have access to a 401(k) or cannot afford to contribute enough to make a significant impact.

Seems no matter who we vote for........we get John McCain and the WAR Machine keeps turning.

I do feel sympathy for those who were trying to get out but weren't able sell and got stuck.

IDK, denial is a bitch. The warning signs have been there for at least a decade, same for many other blue demoncrat dystopian sanctuary cities.

First off, any city, county or state that makes it nearly impossible to exercise your 2A right should be a place you don't want to live, work or even visit.

As soon as a city declares itself a sanctuary city, or they start handing out drug paraphernalia paid by taxpayers, or they allow homeless encampments, or they stop prosecuting shoplifting and other crimes, etc.,

how many warning signs and years of things getting worse do you need before you notice reality and take action?

I'm just trying to put myself in other's shoes who may have had a hard time leaving what they built until it was too late. But it's also hard for me to visualize since I don't live in a state with those types of issues.

And i can see them thinking "it will turn around, things will get better" but it never does. Democratic run cities have been that way forever and all I can guess is there are more voters sucking up the freebies than voters who pay for that. What happens when the payers are no longer there? I wanna find out.

People that stayed there are complacent to some extent complicit for what's happening there.

I see these violent leftist useless idiots fighting law enforcement in the streets who are trying to deport illegal invaders. This is done with the full support of the Demoncrat party and legacy propaganda media.

These are people that want to destroy the USA and our Constitution, and are willing to commit violence and break laws to do it.

Demoncrats and their supporters are the greatest enemy of the USA. They are the "enemy within the gates..." that Cicero wrote about.

Demoncrats are the party of hate, division, deceit, destruction, delusion, dystopia, depravity, and death.

Evil incarnate among us.

There is no coexistence with Evil that wants to kill anyone who opposes or disagrees with them.

It's only going to get worse until the problem is handled decisively.
