Windows security, if you actually know how to use it as most don't, is perfectly fine.
The idea of spending $1200 on a phone or an iPad and you can't drag and drop to it via USB is hilarious.
iTunes is a terrorist program. As good as I am on computers iTunes is a nightmare and has all users being extorted.
I'll go say far to say, most Apple users are Democrats.
Because you and I are friends you're excluded from my rhetoric above.

My main 'puter is still the 2012 cheese grater (Mac Pro).

Been on Mac since 1999 and have never once used any form of security or been affected by a virus. I remember back some time in the noughties the Mac had zero viruses and Windows had 33 000. Apparently if you plugged a PC in fresh-from-the-box you'd have dozens of viruses within 15 minutes.
I assume things have improved drastically since then, but the situation at that time more-or-less sums up why Mac users feel the way they do about viruses.
