Great score, congrats! I wish the 2203KK had the 10-band EQ up front instead of the built in EQ curve.

I didn't like the EQ curve built into the beast section on the 2203KK at all. Got a tech to mod mine so I can switch between the built in curve and a more flat response/clean boost.

Very cool!! I often wondered where those Krank protos ended up.
My JCM800KK is sitting in my living room, unused. Should probably plug it in soon and crank it. Otherwise, it's getting sold.

Total score! Way jealous. Me wantee.

I have a JCM800KK that Kerry borrowed from me to play the Dime tribute at Ozzfest. Total keeper. My favorite Marshall for sentimental reasons.

I betcha that's the best Krank Tony ever made. I'd love to have something like that in my collection.
Yeah I am still shocked out how quickly this deal happened and how cool it was for my buddy to broker this whole thing!

Wow! That's a cool mod! I don't see the KK amps for sale too often. Wonder if is that people really like them or if there just aren't too many "out in the wild"

Yeah man crank that thang!!!

Uploading a clip shortly! This fucker has some bark. The Bass can get preeeeettttttyyy flubby but that might just be how 800's are? I have ZERO experience with them.

I didn't use the EQ in the vid because I really didn't have time to set it. I also didn't want to run it too long at half power but suffice it to say, I love what I've heard so far. One of the outside tubes busted in shipping so only running the center pair.

It is STUPID loud!!! I barely had it cracked and I was worried the neighbors were going to be pissed. Can't wait to hit it with my RAT and Soothsayer!

I see you have a QuickRod as well? Should be interesting in comparison as imo, the QR is one of the ultimate modded Marshalls..
Let us know

Here's a quick clip. Keep in mind, I got about 5 minutes to mess with it so that, plus the 2:30 here is all the time I have had with it. No EQ Boost used, juts amp on it's own.

Really looking forward to digging into this thing though.

From A-Z the amp, story, people...awesome!

You'll have fun with that one, bud

I liked mine with beast engaged, but gain at 7 or so then I boosted the mids a bit with an eq pedal. Tightened up well. With it set up like that it seriously rivaled any modded marshall I've had, including Cameron's.

Here is the third one.

Is this yours???

Are you the one who sold me mine?

No, this one belonged to Kerry's old tech. Note the intact sliders and marks on the knobs. As far as I know this one was never sold. I am pretty sure I know who has it now. I don't think it's any of the two you mentioned.

Oh right on! I was trying to find actual pics of how Kerry set his Boss GE10 so this is VERY cool.

I would not worry too much about running with 2 tubes as long as you have halved the inpedence, I've done it a lot with cranked 100 watt plexi's and no ill effects yet....knock on wood lol! Sounds like a gained up 800 for sure. Nice score!

-that's actually a great idea, I'm gonna look in to it-
