......for the Marshall roar with tighter bottom and clarity etc.....Wizard

I have to give a knod to this.

When I thnk Marshall roar I think open sounding and not compressed, a Plexi type amp dimed with a nice little boost is roar.

This imo is roar.....................

70Strathead's clip, Marshall JMP 74 dimed, 90' Warmoth strat w/JB Humbuckers, Love Pedal plexi 800

Thanks for posting that, that is what I call a roar too. My 2204 that I shouldnt have sold had that going on. That is pure Marshall roar.

I often think of amps as roar or bark.

The Marshall thing always reminded me of a big cat.
I want more of a walrus thing. :scared:

i would get a ceriatone trainwreck clone

Really? I haven't heard the trainwreck clone, but isn't that up a little different (but still somewhat comparable) vein than a Marshall?

I would stick to Splawn, Cameron, or Voodoo to get that type of sound, or go out and buy a clean JCM800 or JMP.

3:40 is the my favorit "marshallish" crunch ever. theres comparison clips floating around of a real trainwreck and the ceriatone that i think the guy in this video actually made, and you can barely tell the difference. plus you can get a master volume and a loop or whatever added, and i dont think they are more than a thousand bucks.

ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding!!!! Winner right there. A metal or a modern classic 100 is probably the best sounding roar out there! Nailed it!

I just got the metal in today, it is loud as fuck! Seems way louder than the QR I had earlier

Did you get the Joolzriff Metal? Could you tell us what you think of her?

Ive heard his Ceriatone is heavily moddified and not the same thing Ceriatone builds you. ;)

But that Trainwreck vid is some of my favorite tone of all time.

That FJA modded DSL is fucking kick ass!!!! I'd do that over a vintage modern!
