Best "Marshall" type roar

Well, for all who know, let me ask this, how do these amps compare? A hi-er gain head that has great touch sensativity, huge bottom end, is not scooped even when the mids are jacked, and is a QUALITY amp?

Deizel Einstein
Soldano SLO OR Clone.

I love all of those amps, but for me the Einstein wins. It has huge bottom end that stays tight, is definitely a middy ass amp, has a ton of gain and is the definition of a quality amp.

It's funny how people can have exact opposite opinions on an amp. I had an Einstein for about a week and sold it because the bottom end was WAAAAY too mushy. For me, the XTC 101B destroys it...

Of those I'd say definitely NOT the Shiva. I had one for about three months and it's got a pretty small bottom end.

I've played Modded and stock Marshalls before and they never have the tight Low E String that I need.

Would you consider this type of low E chug tight enough?

I hear that being tight but the actual sound of the E sounds more round than chunky and defined. Sounds great but that's what I hear.

Hey Guys thanks for all the great info! I appreciate it. Since posting this I acquired a HW Marshall 1959 and the thing is a BEAST. THe biggest bottom I've ever heard and super touch sensative. I can feel the strings like I've never felt them before. The only thing it doesn't have is alot of gain. What head has huge bottom end, is very touch sensative, and has a lot of gain? I don't like it too compressed sounding either. Just a head that the back row can feel me raking the pick off the string. Any opinions on that? My Hand Wired is now my benchmark of a good head.
Is there any way to mod this head to KEEP the big bottom and touch snesativity while juicing up the gain alot?

Get an Ultimate Attenuator and turn everthing up full except the bass. Throw a Tubescreamer in front. There's nothing tighter. No need to mod, unless you want a more "modern" sounding gain. Here's what my HW sounded like with that set-up: https://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_so ... ID=6017102
