I bought a mesa 4 12 cab recto. sounds awesome but the uberkab is on the way.
People, I really do love The rev blue. it's tighter and a bit brighter then the Rev2 or the original, and it has less bess due to the low plate voyage which is normal. I love them all.
Before I had my uberkab, I ran my rev 2 through one of my OS mesa 4x12s. My opinion is that it sounds great through either. To me, the mesa cab seemed more in your face and raw, while the uberkab with its smaller internal volume and mixed speakers sounds more complex and has deeper bass. The mesa cab has just as much low end, but its more punchy compared to the rumble of the uberkab.
I'm not being much help here, but it really will depend on your own preferences. If you prefer the Uber blue over rev 2, the mesa cab's low end might be more to your liking. Since I play almost entirely in standard tuning, the rumbling low end of the uberkab sounds huge without getting flubby with how I run it.
well, I don't have a preference really but the Rev2 is definitely massive massive!!! I got 2 Rev2s. they are little bit different that's for sure.
one of them has a gold Bogner logo very early Rev2
I love my TJ, ran in stereo with my Herbert through two Diezel FL412's with V30/K100's X's. I like the crunchy saturated tone of the TJ mixed with the dryer hifi Diezel sound.
To be honest with you, I have owned a TJ. I don't like it at all. put it side by side with a Rev2 or even a Rev blue after hearing them you won't touch the TJ no more.
I'm enjoying My Revs big time

Well, in my case I didn't heard clips but tried them and owned them all. My friend if you hear the other ubers you will be shocked!!!! believe me. The TJ has an odd EQ I could not get any great tone out of it. too dry and sterile as hell.
