Santa is bringing me a Burnley and Wessex for Christmas! :)

Nice. Enjoy.

I am probably going to have to wait till they hit the used market.

Apparently I'm getting the Burnley - no Wessex. There are several on eBay priced under $210.00 USD.

FWIW...

I just bought a Bogner Burnley last night to use with my Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb combo and it is incredible...!!!

The Burnley pedal and a Maxon 808 gives me everything I could possibly want on that amp from blues, classic rock, ACDC, Zep and if you boost the "F" setting on the Burnley with the Maxon you can nail anything 80's too. Killer pedal with warmth and definition. My fulltone plimsoul is now on Craigslist...

Also a big shout out for the new Fender 68 Custom Deluxe Amp... I use an A/B/Y from the bassman channel to the blackface channel with my OD delay and chorus pedals, I get a killer 3 channel amp that has balls and covers alot of ground.

I found the F setting to be too fat for me. Maybe I should experiment with it more.

I hear you on that, but boosting it with the Maxon 808 makes it just right for me... that mode has alot of gain and a big sound. I rock the maxon and then kick in the Burnley on the F mode for the over the top mojo... I keep the gain at 2:00 onm the Burnly and the maxon gain at 1:00 and level at 3:00...

Love to see how the burnley compares to the la grange. Homely bogner gets to releasing the Lagrange soon.

I have been reading some threads on the burnley and some pint out that it is on the dark side and they generally run the tone at 3 o'clock or higher.

My Wessex sounds fabulous! It very much reminds me of my old KLON gold horsie, except I can dial-in lows if I want + increased control of the top-end. Most transparent overdrive I've ever used.
