Yes, you’re right of course, but any Mark series Boogie will get you close enough, the rest is pickup, speakers, the studio, his hands and talent, etc...napalmdeath":2crm80w3 said:I think the biggest factor here that most are overlooking, is HIS '78 Les Paul Custom, and HIS talent. Most of '87 Whitesnake, and the first Blue Murder album was all Coliseum.
That sounds great, very big tone there, sounds massive.Mr. Willy":3bynum3l said:I’ll throw this in the ring. It’s just an iPhone clip, but you can easily tell what it sounds like in the room.
Sounds very close! Nice playing too.lll":302qfrqq said:The amp in question was:

Set to the Boogie MkIIc+
Hell, YEAH, that's the fun part...Racerxrated":h2wh62l3 said:But, unfortunately that plugin won't get you pant legs flappin in front of a 4X12 with a tube amp pushing that tone with some serious air.
And that's the fun part for me.

FAIL for no use of violin bow![]()
Totally kidding, that was awesome!
I love that run at 4:26- was that the actual note for note from the original? Most people- including the replacement players in the band- don't play the exact notes. I would love to learn that part and play it as tight as it is here.
